Here’s the thing. Creating and crafting found me, I did not go looking for it. How you may ask. I was planning a party for my mother’s 80th birthday and decided to make all the decorations myself (what a chore that was) and looking at the effects of the decorations I made the decision to create however not sell. Let me tell you how that happened. I made some items to attend my first craft show and "test the water" and everyone looked and smiled, however, I sold nothing, (oh my feelings were so hurt). So as a believer in never give up, I began to research some ideas to sell at craft shows and what was current interests. So there I was in the hobby store making purchases to create/sell not knowing what to expect. I went to the craft show and left with only my tables and a smile on my face as I sold all my items. I was elated because my crafts were in someone’s home and that was inspiring to me (hence Inspirational Design). So that is how S&S came about, named after my deceased father and sister.
